Bright Tide
HL BaSE partnered with Bright Tide
to support its Regenerative Farming
Accelerator Programme. The accelerator
focused on connecting land and ocean
farmers, in order to build a community
dedicated to accelerating the
agricultural transition to a more nature
positive and sustainable future. As well
as hosting the accelerator’s launch and
joining Bright Tide for an event at the
House of Commons, HL BaSE hosted a
Catalyst workshop for the ventures on
the programme.
With nearly 50 participants, lawyers
from Hogan Lovells worked alongside
volunteers from our clients to advise 9
amazing ventures. The workshop aimed
to equip these ventures with essential
legal insights to navigate the complex
regulatory, contractual, and intellectual
property aspects of their work.
Ventures included:
Chirrup AI has developed a platform
that provides a scientific measure of
biodiversity on a farm by charting
how many species of bird are thriving
which, in turn, indicates the diversity
of bugs and seeds above ground, and
the richness of life in the soil.
AQUIT develops biotech solutions for
sustainable aquaculture in particular
preventive treatment for infections
in fish that replace antibiotics,
improve survival rates, and boost
natural immunity.
