Black British Initiative –
MBA30 masterclass
The Black British Initiative joined
forces with SOAS University of London
and the Stephen Lawrence Day
Foundation to launch MBA30, a
certificate-level qualification aiming
to address the challenges and
disadvantages faced by aspiring Black
entrepreneurs entering and operating
in the world of business.
As part of the programme, HL
BaSE delivered a legal masterclass
to the entrepreneurs taking part
in the fourth MBA 30 Cohort. The
masterclass featured legal experts
highlighting key legal issues early stage
businesses need to consider, including
commercial contracts, funding,
employment principles, IP and more.
