HL BaSE Catalyst

HL BaSE Catalyst has been running for 7
years in Spain. This year HL BaSE ran the
workshop in collaboration with UnLtd
Spain, an impact startup accelerator
foundation dedicated to ensuring that
the social and environmental impact
generated by companies is as important
as their profitability. Since its inception in
2014, UnLtd Spain has fostered more than
100 impact startups across the region.
Lawyers from Hogan Lovells worked
alongside volunteers from their clients,
including Ford España, Cisco, and Novartis
España, to advise 4 incredible organisations:
emily.AI is the world’s first holistic
respiratory care system powered by
artificial intelligence on a mission
to reduce the global burden of
chronic respiratory diseases.
Vacapop is an innovative platform
committed to sustainable rural
development. Its app allows users to
communicate with farmers across
Spain, and buy and sell livestock.
Rethink Medical has developed
T-Control, an improved urinary catheter
to help patients with retention or
incontinence live more comfortably,
reduce complications, and support
a healthier, more active lifestyle.
Soluciones Agrarias Cropi is a mobile
platform which assists farmers across
Spain to accurately apply fertilizers by
calculating the correct dosages, and
estimating the necessary working hours.
