Empact
Empact is a Singapore-based social enterprise
on a mission to bridge the gap between
government agencies, grant-makers,
corporates, and volunteers with the needs
of the social sector. In 2024, it worked
with 20 foundations and 16 government
agencies and schools to strengthen the
impact ecosystem and facilitate long term
sustainability of social organisations in
the region. It also supported 276 social
organisations in Singapore and 19 other
locations across Asia to build capacity
through skills training, consultancy, tech
implementation, and shared services.
Our Singapore office advised Empact on
its compliance with Singapore’s Personal
Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the
implementation of strong data governance
practices through preparing essential policies
and contractual templates, and advising
on their data breach response plans.
