OpenStreetMap Team
Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team is
an international non-profit that leverages
open-source mapping to support disaster
response, humanitarian aid, and climate
resilience worldwide. By mobilising
volunteers and local communities to
create and update digital maps, it helps
governments, NGOs, and responders
access critical geographic data for planning
and emergency relief, particularly in
vulnerable and underserved regions.
HL BaSE advised on navigating legal
and regulatory challenges as it expands
its global impact. Our New York office
also advised on strategic and operational
issues as part of our Catalyst programme
in New York, further strengthening the
organisation’s capacity to deliver lifesaving mapping solutions and enhance
climate resilience in at-risk communities.
